Library Director Programs

Are you a newly hired or aspiring library director in Wisconsin? State law requires specific training for public library directors. At CVTC, we make it possible to meet those requirements with flexible, online courses designed to fit your busy schedule.

Our Library Director program offers the four DPI-required courses needed for Grade III (and partially for Grade II) certification without requiring you to enroll in a full degree program. Whether you’re already working in a library or preparing for a leadership role, this is a practical, affordable way to get certified.

If you already have 54 credits from a higher education institution and are looking to complete your certification, this program is designed for you. If you don’t yet have those credits, our Library & Information Services program is another excellent option to help you get started.
